Need Urgent Dental Care?

If you need help with an urgent dental problem, call our helpline, available from 9am to 9:30pm everyday, including weekends and Bank Holidays.

Local dental providers offer NHS urgent dental clinics across Cheshire and Merseyside, with urgent appointments for patients who need urgent treatment, advice and support on dental queries or referral to other services.

The service is provided according to strict clinical criteri

a and when you call you'll be assessed by a member of our clinical team to make sure your problem come under either:

  • Trauma - this is usually caused by a blow to the face, a lost filling is not classed as a trauma.
  • Swelling of the face
  • Bleeding, uncontrolled, such as after an extraction
  • Pain that can't be controlled by pain relief medicines.

If you're given an appointment and your problem doesn't fit of the above, you'll still have to pay the NHS fee but may receive advice and not treatment.

Clinic times vary.and at busy times or when your local clinic's not available you may be offered an appointment at an alternative location.

Please not: this is an appointment only service - we do not operate a "drop in" service at any of our surgeries

Do It Online

We now offer a 24 hr, secure online service so you can access us when you’re at home, work or on the move - wherever you can connect to the internet.

This service allows you to:

  • Book an appointment on-line - we now offer all our routine GP appointments online. You can access and book these yourself by registering with the patient access service. .Please note, routine appointments are released on a gradual basis at varying times throughout the day so if you cannot find a suitable appointment please recheck on a regular basis. Our receptionists do not have access to any routine appointments that are not available to book through Patient Access. Learn more about our appointments system here

  • Order repeat prescriptions (Please note: If you are in the Repeat Dispensing Scheme you do not need to order repeat medication every month)

  • Access your test results (including the doctor’s comments) and view your medical record

Online Services Records Access

Before you apply for on-line access to your record, there are some things to consider and before access is granted you will be asked to confirm that you have read and understood issues such as:

Please remember you will need a password which is unique to you to ensure that only you are able to access your record – unless you consent to proxy access and share your details with a family member or carer.

You can download the application for online access form here. You will need to complete both the application for on-line access and provide proof of identification – please read the Online Access Leaflet.
